Ronaldo was hard at work with the rest of the Rossoneri today, but this comes as no surprise because he's been training at about the level of the rest of the team for a few days now. Roni is doing well and worked hard for the entire two hour session. The Phenomenon scored a brilliant goal from 30 metres in one of the session's practice games. The goal by the Phenomenon at the Milanello was met by a round of applause.

MILAN - Yesterday, coach Carlo Ancelotti gave an interview on Studio Milan: 'We hope that the anti-violence measures are decided upon quickly and decisively so that the games can resume on Sunday and are not played behind closed doors. The police will be given more power to react, both inside and outside the stadium, and I believe that this will be the most important thing that we can do. He only needs to increase his fitness condition a bit. Ronaldo still has great speed, reacts well and muscular power. He only needs to find speed endurance and that's just a question of training. Now, he is working apart from the group, but on Wednesday he will start working with the team. He will play ninety minutes when there is no risk of injury. I think that this will happen soon enough. He is reacting well in training and is very stimulated. He is really motivated and as a consequence, he dedicates all of his time to regaining his top condition to demonstrate that he is still one of the best strikers in the world.'

The players started the session with warm-ups, followed by strength-building exercises and crunches. They then moved onto the center field, where they started ball work, first on possession and then amongst the obstacle course. A series of practice games, first with attack against defence and then with everyone on the field, closed the session.
Serginho ran apart from the rest of the group for thirty minutes. Christian Brocchi ran an intense set of laps on the center field. Kakha Kaladze trained this morning and then departed for the friendly with the his national side, although he will not play. Paolo Maldini worked with the rest of the group, except for the two final practice games.
Milan will return to training tomorrow at 3pm CET.
