Ronaldo was hard at work with the rest of the Rossoneri today, but this comes as no surprise because he's been training at about the level of the rest of the team for a few days now. Roni is doing well and worked hard for the entire two hour session. The Phenomenon scored a brilliant goal from 30 metres in one of the session's practice games. MILAN - Yesterday, coach Carlo Ancelotti gave an interview on Studio Milan: 'We hope that the anti-violence measures are decided upon quickly and decisively so that the games can resume on Sunday and are not played behind closed doors. The police will be given more power to react, both inside and outside the stadium, and I believe that this will be the most important thing that we can do. I think that problem with sub-standard stadia is relative. Constructing new stadia will take time and will punish the fans that don't cause problems and just want to go to see the game. Those of us that go to the stadium every Sunday have seen that it is more or less commonplace to insult the police and it just shouldn't be this way.'

On a technical line, he continued: 'We have not been rotating the players excessively because, even though we haven't been playing brilliantly, we have achieved good results in the league. In this period, we have won the games that we should have won against Reggina and Parma and we drew in the delicate transfer in Rome against Lazio. We didn't put on a good performance in the return leg against Roma because our attitude wasn't good. However, it certainly wasn't a question of physical shape.'

Internationals, Andrea Pirlo, Alberto Gilardino, Massimo Oddo and Christian Brocchi were present to train, after the Italy-Romania friendly was cancelled. Ronaldo trained with the rest of the team.
The players started the session with warm-ups, followed by strength-building exercises and crunches. They then moved onto the center field, where they started ball work, first on possession and then amongst the obstacle course. A series of practice games, first with attack against defence and then with everyone on the field, closed the session.
Serginho ran apart from the rest of the group for thirty minutes. Christian Brocchi ran an intense set of laps on the center field. Kakha Kaladze trained this morning and then departed for the friendly with the his national side, although he will not play. Paolo Maldini worked with the rest of the group, except for the two final practice games.
Milan will return to training tomorrow at 3pm CET.
