Two days after the game against Palermo and it’s already the eve of another game, but this time it will be Chievo at the San Siro.
Today’s training was a light pre-game session. It was a sunny day in Milan and team met at 15.30 CET on the upper field where Carlo Ancelotti spoke to the players before starting the session. Paolo Maldini, Kakha Kaladze and Massimo Ambrosini worked in the gym again. Marcos Cafu worked on strength building in the sandpit. Apart from the four players that underwent individualized work the rest of the squad trained together, including Alessandro Nesta, Serginho and Pippo Inzaghi. The keepers worked apart with their coaches.
The session started with a game of keep ball and moved on to warm-ups and stretching. After this initial phase, Carlo Ancelotti divided the players up into two groups to work on agility, reactivity and speed. Sprints and skipping runs closed the athletic part of training.
The team then switched to working on the technical-tactical side of the game. Ancelotti distributed the training jerseys for a series of games, which were followed closely by the coach. As stated earlier, all of the players took part in the games except Cafu, Maldini, Kaladze and Ambrosini. It was a positive session for Nesta and Serginho, as well as Jankulovski and Inzaghi.
