Agent confirms that Ronaldo runs no risk of losing commercial deals
Contrary to a story published in a Rio de Janeiro newspaper this Saturday, Ronaldo has not had his contract with Italian mobile telecoms provider TIM revoked. Indeed, all of his commercial contracts remain unaffected.
”I reiterate that no contracts have been broken by sponsors and none will be broken, as I said before,” Ronaldo’s agent Fabiano Farah explained.
As Farah underlined in his previous statement: “What happened is not a legal matter. Decisions of this nature (i.e. rescinding of contractual agreements) are not within the remit of those who have legal contracts with Ronaldo. His contractual agreements do not provide scope for that sort of decision, and could only be rendered null and void if Ronaldo were found guilty of something.. But he has committed no crime, and has broken no law. On the contrary, he is the victim in this case.”
Fitness update
This Saturday, Ronaldo underwent a six-hour session of physiotherapy in which he alternated between electrotherapy and passive movement of the left knee joint.
On Sunday, he will undergo two three-hour sessions of treatment, with strength work followed by aerobic exercise.
